After breakfast, you begin your journey towards Barkot, which serves as the base for Yamunotri. By evening, you reach Barkot, check into your hotel, and rest in preparation for the upcoming trek.

This is the first major pilgrimage day, where you travel to Janki Chatti and begin the trek to Yamunotri. Upon reaching the temple, you offer prayers to Goddess Yamuna and visit Surya Kund, known for its hot water springs. After darshan, you return along the same route to Barkot.

This is the most intense and important day of the journey. You travel to Gaurikund and begin the 16–18 km trek to Kedarnath, or opt for helicopter services if preferred.
